COMPANY HISTORY

Small miners exploited several mines in the area, such as "Caudalosa", "Emmita y Coquito", "Rublo", "Recuperada", "Teresita" located in the district of Huachocolpa, Huancavelica. Banco Minenro del Perú financed the construction of a 20-hectare concentrator plant for the benefit of mining producers.

Final authorization was obtained for the operation of the plant under the name Concentradora de Minerales Huachocolpa S.A - COMIHUASA with a production capacity of 450 MTD, owned by Banco Minero del Perú.

In association with Buenaventura, the Raffo Group began the consolidation of the UEA “Huachocolpa Uno”.

Investment in exploration, ended up in the discovery of the Buenaventurada vein.

Raffo group assumed the full control of the Operations, fully assuming its management and operation through Compañía Minera Caudalosa S.A. Work. The explotation of Bienaventurada vein starts.

Stabilization of productive operations in the medium-size mining range, reaching 234 thousand TMS per year of concentrate production compared to 100 thousand TMS per year on average in the previous decade.

The “Huachocolpa Uno” unit is expanded to a total of 50 mining concessions with an extension of 1,863 hectares, doubling the consolidated area compared to the 1980s.

Mechanized processes are incorporated into the mine.

Operations reached a new break-even point, consolidating production at 800 MTD, the annual production volume reached 288,000 MT, a range never before achieved in the Unit's history.

Kolpa begins operations with the goal of bringing production capacity to 960 MTD.

Kolparc Canada LP joins the shareholding structure, an entity that facilitates the investment of specialized funds in mining companies. A strategic capital investment plan for US$ 70 million to be executed over a 4-year horizon is launched.

Kolpa initiates an investment program in exploration activities in projects near the mine, as well as in brownfield and greenfield areas, in order to increase its portfolio of mineral reserves and resources. Exploration progress of 7,166 meters of diamond drilling is recorded.

Environmental and operating permits are obtained to increase the plant's installed capacity to 1,440 MTD. An annual production volume of 461 thousand metric tons of ore is recorded, which represents a growth of almost 100% with respect to the average volume recorded during the 2005-2010 period. A growth plan has been initiated with the objective of reaching, in the next two years, a production level of 2,500 MTD.
